St. AgnesSt. Agnes, Quinan, Nova Scotia The first church at Quinan, "Notre Dame de la Purification", was consecrated February 2, 1859. The present church, Ste. Agnes, was completed in February, 1885, and dedicated September 20, of that year. In 1918, the church was extended some fifty feet and was blessed by Archbishop E.J. McCarthy on May 30. Until recent years St. Agnes had its own resident parish priest, but it is now a charge of the Pastor of St. Ann's, Eel Brook.
