Saint Michael

St. Michael , Wedgeport, Nova Scotia

St. Michael's , started as the Mission of St. Michael's (first church built in 1822). A second church was built in 1867. It was remodelled and the spire removed in 1903. In 1913 it was incorporated into the much enlarged church of St. Michael that we see today. The church is noted for its magnificent Memorial windows: and for its High Altar beautifully carved by two parishioners.
